How do you stay fit and stylish when your day-job involves eating some of Bangkok’s finest foods? We ask Ananda Everingham what he gets up to when he’s not eating his way through Bangkok.

How do you stay fit while travelling and working on a shoot, especially if it involves eating on set and long hours?
Eating well is key but I’m not always that disciplined though as I love food too much and healthy food can get boring. I do have a Paleo home delivery service if I want to get serious.

What’s your ultimate cheat day meal?
A great Wagyu steak with some tamarind child dipping sauce.

What does a typical day-off look like for you?
Now with this hectic schedule a staycation at the Mandarin Oriental, one of my favourite all time best hotels, trumps everything. Impeccable service and room service is the best after a long week.

You have five minutes to get dressed for brunch with the folks. What’s your go-to outfit?
My circle of family and friends are quite casual so we are quite liberal when it comes to how one is dressed and looks. I do think a great pair of dress shoes make all the difference.

Any exciting upcoming travel plans?
I’m forward to a trek that I have booked in Son Doong cave. It’s the world’s newly discovered biggest cave in the world.

What are some of the must-haves in your carry-on bag?
Camera with my favourite lens, a decent book and an issue of Vanity Fair.

Watch Ananda as he meets Bangkok’s most popular chefs and dines at some of the city’s most raved about restaurants and bars in Taste Bangkok.
